Pro Bono Planners Australia (PbPA) is seeking expressions of interest from landscape architecture and landscape design professionals interested in donating their expertise to an exciting community project in Melbourne. 

We're partnering with Launch Housing in Victoria to help transform a small courtyard at its Southbank Crisis Accommodation Service into a welcoming outdoor wellbeing space. The project will create a calm, trauma-informed, culturally safe environment that promotes recovery, connection and dignity.  

We're looking for: 

• Landscape architecture or landscape design professionals
• Individual volunteers or firms willing to contribute pro bono 
• Experience in community, wellbeing, public realm or low-maintenance landscape design is highly regarded (but not essential) 

The project includes preparing a concept and implementation-ready landscape design, with opportunities to engage with residents and staff throughout the design process. Additional implementation support is welcome where possible.  

This is an opportunity to use your professional skills to create a space that can make a genuine difference in the daily lives of people rebuilding their lives after homelessness.
